Short video scripts (V01–V12)

Informal phone or webcam. No production gloss. No Life Happens/LIAM logos. No calculator. No quote engine. No guarantees. On camera: Gregory M. Sloan, CLU®, ChFC®, Licensed Insurance Representative. Never title him Underwriter.

Spoken CTA (every close, vary slightly): “If you want a private 15-minute review of what you already own, call 800.365.TERM. That’s 800-365-8376.” One 2026 number max per script, if any. Cite off-camera: 2026 Insurance Barometer Study, LIMRA and Life Happens.

V01 — You already own something. When did you last look?

Length: 45s · Pairs: Sep 1 · review-what-you-already-own · ★ social card

On-screen: Review what you already own.

“September is Life Insurance Awareness Month. A lot of people bought a policy years ago and never looked at it again. An annual review is not a shopping trip. It’s a look at the coverage you already have — the amount, the beneficiaries, and whether it still does the job. Life insurance is for real life. If you want fifteen minutes on yours, call 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: No stat on screen. Optional lower-third: Licensed Insurance Representative · NPN 2145633.

V02 — A quote engine cannot see your policy

Length: 40s · Pairs: Sep 2 · annual-review-beats-a-quote-engine

On-screen: A review beats a quote engine.

“A quote engine prices a hypothetical. It does not open the policy you already own. It does not see conversion windows, workplace coverage, or the file a carrier would actually evaluate. Coverage decisions are made in underwriting — not by a quote engine. Carriers evaluate data, not intentions. A 15-minute review starts with what you have. Call 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: No stat.

V03 — The face amount is a year-stamped number

Length: 50s · Pairs: Sep 3 · purchasing-power-and-an-old-face-amount · ★ social card

On-screen: Does the amount still do the job?

“The death benefit on your page is the number from the year you applied. Groceries, housing, and the years of income a family would need to replace are not frozen there. That is not a claim that inflation cut your policy by some percent. It is a reason to compare the number to the job. If it still fits, keep it. If it doesn’t, talk before anyone applies. 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: Do not put CPI, $168k, or $209k on screen in the short. Those live on the blog as labeled context.

V04 — Term: a better rate or path may exist

Length: 45s · Pairs: Sep 4 · term-coverage-a-better-rate-or-path-may-exist · ★ social card

On-screen: Term: rate and path are different questions.

“If you have term, a better rate or a better path may exist. May — not will. Path might mean conversion, a new application, or leaving the policy alone. Each one has a different underwriting footprint. A quote cannot sort that. A review can. Call 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: Optional off-camera note only: under-31 cost myth ~5–6×, 2026 Barometer. Do not speak 10–12 times.

V05 — Workplace coverage is real. It is rarely the whole plan.

Length: 40s · Pairs: Sep 5 · workplace-coverage-is-not-the-whole-picture · ★ social card

On-screen: What remains if the job ends?

“Group life through work is real coverage. For some people it is the only layer. Jobs end. Amounts at work are often a starter, not a plan. An annual review maps what you would still have if you left. That is not a quote. Call 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: Optional: 27% of insured are workplace-only (2026 Workplace fact sheet, LIMRA). Prefer not to speak it unless on-screen with source.

V06 — Fifteen minutes is not an application

Length: 35s · Pairs: Sep 6 · fifteen-minutes-is-not-an-application

On-screen: A review is not an application.

“A 15-minute annual review is a conversation. Nothing is filed unless you choose it. I do not underwrite. Carriers underwrite. If you want to line up the policy, the household, and the file before anyone submits, call 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: No stat.

V07 — Beneficiaries drift

Length: 40s · Pairs: Sep 7 · beneficiaries-drift-so-does-the-job · ★ social card

On-screen: Who is actually on the form?

“People buy life insurance for the people who depend on them. The beneficiary form can sit unchanged while the family does not. An annual review checks the names and the job the check would actually do — burial, income, a mortgage. Bring the declarations page. Call 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: Industry purpose questions as conversation, not as a calculator.

V08 — Conversion before you shop new term

Length: 45s · Pairs: Sep 8 · conversion-before-you-shop-a-new-term

On-screen: Check conversion before a new application.

“A lot of individual term contracts include a conversion window. That path is not a quote. It is a contract feature — on the carrier’s rules — and it can matter before you start a new file. Do not drop the old policy until something else is actually in force. Want that checked? 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: No invented conversion-rate percent.

V09 — No exam is not a skip on the review

Length: 40s · Pairs: Sep 11 · no-exam-is-not-a-skip-on-the-annual-review

On-screen: No exam is not no underwriting.

“No-exam and accelerated paths still review data. They are not a way around the file. If you already own coverage, the annual question is still whether it fits — not whether a banner said no exam. Coverage decisions are made in underwriting — not by a quote engine. Carriers evaluate data, not intentions. Call 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: No stat.

V10 — Life changes. The form often doesn’t.

Length: 40s · Pairs: Sep 15 · who-gives-your-life-purpose

On-screen: Life insurance is for real life.

“Baby. Job. Mortgage. Divorce. A parent you now support. Those are real-life changes. The policy you bought for an earlier version of the household may still be perfect — or it may be aimed at the wrong people. A review asks that without filing anything. 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: Theme frame spoken once. Do not show Life Happens marks.

V11 — Research online. Buy is a person.

Length: 40s · Pairs: Sep 24 · research-online-then-talk-to-a-person · ★ social card

On-screen: Research online. Then talk to a person.

“Plenty of people research life insurance online and still want a person when it is time to decide. That is normal. A 15-minute review is that conversation about the coverage you already have — not a calculator and not an instant issue funnel. Call 800.365.TERM.”

Producer: Optional one number: 43% research online / buy in person, 2026 Barometer. Do not also speak 25% in the same 40s unless on-screen.

V12 — Close September with fifteen minutes

Length: 35s · Pairs: Sep 30 · close-liam-with-a-fifteen-minute-review · ★ social card

On-screen: Fifteen minutes. Current policy. No application.

“If you did one thing this Life Insurance Awareness Month, make it a look at what you already own. Amount. Beneficiaries. Whether a different path may exist. I am Gregory Sloan, a licensed insurance representative. Private 15-minute review: 800.365.TERM. Direct or text 754-313-6200.”

Producer: End card: 800.365.TERM · 754-313-6200 · greg@insureprotector.com. No calculator. No campaign logo.
